The Kybosh combine dark post-punk tones with a progressive vision, constantly seeking out new influences to create fresh sounds.
In 2007 they released their first single, Rubicon, to critical acclaim from The Irish Independent, Hot Press and The Evening Herald, gaining airplay on Phantom and Spin FM. They completed a summer mini-tour, supported The Blizzards, Hybrasil and Rough Trade Records’ 1990s, and performed at the Hard Working Class Heroes festival.
Tipped as one of the most promising bands of 2008 by John Meagher in The Irish Independent, The Kybosh are working on their new EP which they intend to release in autumn 2008.
After a brief hiatus, The Kybosh returned to release their three-track EP entitled “Ignorance” on October 6th, 2010.
